How to use the Depth Gauge Calibration Base T = required depth R = radius, must be measured B = base height, must be measured H = height H, must be measured A = height A, must be calculated Formulas: A = H-B T = (3xR)-A Example: R = radius, measured = D/2 = 5.00/2 = 2.50mm B = base height, measured = 29.75 H = height H, measured = 32.30 A = height A, calculated = H-B = 32.30-29.75 = 2.55mm T = (3xR)-A = (3x2.50)-2.55 = 4.95mm Depth gauge calibrated to 4,95mm shows an error of 0.16mm if measured on a flat plate.
